About Us

Paramount Homes is a custom home building contractor that builds in Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas. Generally, we build homes in El Paso County, Teller County, and Douglas County. We usually build homes that are completely custom, but we can also build from a set of floor plans that we’ve selected from local architects or from a set of plans that you find online. Our aim is to maximize your home buying dollar by working with you to create YOUR perfect combination of price, square footage, and level of finish.

Our Team

We have a solid team of employees and a great crew of subcontractors and vendors that are the best in the industry, and (fortunately for us) most of them have worked with us for over a decade. Our small team keeps costs down and ensures great communication.

Mike Rice

Owner/Builder

Even as the company President, Mike continues to be very hands-on with the projects; at his core, Mike is a dirt-under-the-fingernails kind of guy who loves to build. Mike is on the job sites multiple times per week, ensuring that the project quality, job schedules, and communications are up to par. Denise Rice

VP of Business Development

Denise joined the Paramount team in 2019, focusing on marketing and business development. Her background in communication and marketing make her a perfect complement to Mike’s “nuts and bolts” background.

Jodi Swiech

Project Coordinator

Jodi joined the Paramount Team in 2018. She received her interior design degree in 2000. Jodi has an extensive background in many areas of residential design, including a decade of experience in sales of floor and wall materials. Our clients have full access to her expertise in all aspects of design. Under Jodi’s care, our clients experience concierge-level service when it comes to the design and selection process of their new home.

Our Building Process
