We have some of the best construction trades in the area that partner with us on all of our homes, including electricians, drywallers, concrete workers, framers, and more. We think you’ll really enjoy working with our crews and partners when we build your home. Here are some of the partners we’ve worked with for many years, and highly recommend.
Tom Allen – Elite Drywall
Tom and his wife Sylvia are not Colorado natives, but they got here as soon as they could! Moving from Minnesota in 1980, the Allens have nearly 40 years here in Colorado Springs. Tom is closing in on nearly four decades of experience in the drywall industry. In 2003, Tom started Elite Drywall, which services all aspects of residential construction. Over the years, as Elite Drywall has grown, they have built an extensive “family” of employees, vendors, and clients. The Allens have a deeply rooted commitment to the community of Colorado Springs. Their philanthropic endeavors include outstanding organizations such as Care and Share, The Empty Stocking Fund, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Urban League, and Shield 616. Tom enjoys the wide array of offerings that Colorado boasts – golfing, mountain biking, hunting, and fly fishing.
Chris Swayne – Rowan Electric
Chris Swayne is an entrepreneur to his core. At the ripe age of 33, he has built a group of companies that service the building industry, including electrical, automation, lighting suppression, and lighting. He learned the electrical business the old fashioned way – from the ground up. Once he became a master electrician, he set his sights on owning his own business, and once his first company was solidified, he continued on, eventually building the Rowan Group. Chris and his wife enjoy raising their young son, and traveling whenever time permits. Both are Colorado Springs natives, and enjoy all of the benefits that our town offer.
Sam Sharp – Whitley Homes
Sam is Colorado native, having grown up in the mountains of Summit County, and then settling in Colorado Springs after graduating from college with a Pre-Med degree. His career path is not dissimilar to Paramount Homes Owner Mike Rice’s career path, where the love of building outweighed other occupational opportunities that higher education afforded. Sam has been a framing contractor for nearly three decades. His expertise includes conventional framing, timber work, log homes, and SIP ( structural insulated panel ) installation. Sam enjoys many hobbies and frequently adds new hobbies to his repertoire in an effort to continually learn and experience life to its fullest. Currently, he regularly enjoys bow hunting, beekeeping, antique car restoration, and bluegrass music. He and his wife of 25 years have two adult children.
Chuck Kanzler – Kanzler Foundations
Chuck was born and raised in Colorado Springs. The construction industry is in his blood; he is a second generation foundation contractor, and all 4 of his brothers are in the building industry. Chuck’s first memory of being on a job site was at the ripe age of 5 years old, helping his father pull forms after a pour and load them on the trailer. During his teen years, he excelled in school, played school sports, and of course, poured foundations with his father during the summer. Chuck started his own company at the age of 23 years old and has never looked back. He has poured thousands of foundations across the Front Range and is an expert on all things pertaining to foundation work. He and his wife Sue enjoy their time together raising their children and having fun with 4 wheel ATVs.
